With a sound that incorporates blues, jazz, funk, rock and
bluegrass, Brian Lavelle creates a mood that shifts from one song
to the next. He comes alive on stage with an infectious grin,
singing songs synchronous with the atypical beats he hammers out
of his acoustic guitar. Not only will you tap your feet, you will
also have a heightened awareness of the soul and its endless boundaries.
Brian Lavelle is a modern day troubadour. A graduate of Berklee College of
Music and an alumni of the Turner Broadcasting Sound Design/Music
Composition Team, Brian is a perpetual student of world travel and Jazz. He
just finished a tour as a solo performer with Celebrity Cruises through
the Caribbean and Europe before a brief stint as a traveling minstrel in
Ireland. Brian is currently working on a new CD in Atlanta while performing
locally under both his own name and with the R&B, funk and soul band Liquid
Funk.
